When I had it on my last C5 I found myself staring up at trees and buildings every time I had to stop at a light. 
And the tint on it is so dark that the sun doesn't glare as much as you would think. It's the one option I wish I had on my C6.

While I don't have any pictures out my transparent roof, I love it...and I also find myself looking through it at stop signs and stop lights...
Although I sometimes catch myself looking out of it while driving down the road...
I'm glad mine only came with the one top...the other would be gathering dust in a corner of the garage...

We haven't driven a C6 in hot weather, but the transparent top on our C5 was excellent- good visibility and it brightened up the interior, but we never got sunburn with it in place. The only time we ever felt the sun was on a 5 hour drive in bright sun with the outside temp reading 105'-107'F. So I put on my hat.
