Born on date ?
The date on the rear of the drivers door is 07/05 which indicates my Vette was built in July of 2005, yet the Certificate of Origin is dated 08/08/05. Anyone know if the date on the Certificate of Origin is the born on date? If not, I would appreciate any help in finding the actual born on date. Vin is 1G1YY24U055133087. Thanks in advance.

At the end of the assembly line the plant puts a 3" sticker on the window with the day of the month in large numbers (my car had a 31 for Jan 31). If your dealer didn't take that sticker off, you have absolute proof of the day -- but not the month -- the car rolled off the assembly line.
