Yellow beast gets a home!!!
Hello everyone,
I picked up my 06 Yellow Vert this past Saturday at Kerbeck's. The total buying experience was great. Salesman, Mike Bellino guided me through the whole purchase over the phone. I told Mike what I wanted and amazingly he had the exact Vette going into production the next week. He kept me informed on a regular basis, first, he informed me of the Feb. 3, 2006 production date and then Feb. 9th, the delivery date at Kerbeck's. My son and I decided to trailer the car because of a forcasted snow storm for Saturday. We Arrived at Kerbecks's Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M after a 5hr. drive from Ma. We were greeted cheerfully by Mike immediately. Nick and I examined the Vette throughly and were very satisfied with the fit and finish and the final detail work done at Kerbeck's. Mike introduced us to Nick Cantatore, the business manager. Nick walked us through all the paperwork efficiently, explaining each document and then happily accepted my check. We were also taken on tour of the facility and viewed their private collection of cars, very impressive. As we began to load the Vert into the trailer Mike Pileggi, another Kerbeck employee, eagerly offered his assitance in lashing the car in the trailer. The ride home through New York and Ct. with the vert in the box was a little nerve racking at times. Made it home safely. The forecast was correct by the way, it did snow later that evening. 14-20" to be exact!!!! I would like to thank the all the people at Kerbeck's For a great purchase. I would also like to thank all the members of this forum for the information that I have absorbed over the past two or three weeks. Just reading threads on a variety of subjects reguarding your Corvettes and the experiences with them whether they be problems or joys has been a great help. As time goes on I hope to contribute my general knowledge to other members as well. By the way my Vette is VY, BLK, BLK, A6, Z51, 3LT, NAV, PT. Not sure how to post pics.
Thanks again,
Steve
