Default Floor Mats

The second day I had my 06 C6, I pulled up on the floor mat and the circular tab pulled apart. I snapped it back into the mat and it has worked fine for the last 3 months. Sunday I went to remove the mat to clean it and the circular locking tab (or whatever it is called) broke. Now it won't hold. Should that be a warranty issue? Has anyone else had problems with these tabs. I know a lot of members buy Lloyd's mats, but I like to keep it all stock. Thanks.

I had this problem with my driver side mat the same day my car was delivered. One side didnt lock in place due to a broken ring and when I tried to lift the other side off, the entire ring separated from the mat. Its a very poor design. I contacted my dealer Tommy jr at Macmulkin the next day and he ordered a new set for me.

Both sides broke in my C6 Z on day 2 of ownership. The dealer ordered a new set under warranty and now I get to break another set!

I've also had problems with the driver side mat, but it hasn't broken yet. Hope you get new ones.

I broke both the drivers and passengers mats the first time I removed them. The dealership in Allentown is ordering me a new set, but the new ones will probably break the same way, I guess I will just let them attached. I hope Chevy changes the design to make them more sturdy…Al
