What is Error Code P0803

In the C5, P0803 does refer to an error in the Skip Shift Solenoid Control Circuit. see this link

Maybe your eliminator is defective and shorting the wires? If you put it back stock and do not get the code I would suspect your eliminator -- since no one else seems to have this problem (I have an eliminator w/no problems).
