Early summer I plan on loading the Vert up and cruising the 101 up to Santa Barbara and Solvang to do some wine tasting for a few days. Then cruise the 1 through the twisty all the way to San Francisco and then on to Napa for some more wine tasting! Still thinking about the route back. But maybe Tahoe is in the cards too!

Default Uh-Oh

Ok, I'll be the only one then and y'all can say what you want.
Sure, it's a terrific car to drive around and all but if this dude's anything like me, I'd be happier with knowing the car is home safe in the garage. (I can hear it coming now....) You have to contend with dump trucks that drop all kinds of sh:t, alot of grit and crap get tossed up when your driving on the interstates in rain, not to mention the treads from exploding tires lying in wait to tear your car a new-you know what hole-when you run over or into one of these pieces; you have to be concerned every time you park some where when you stop to go eat, sight see, and for the night; not to mention about maybe getting into any car accidents along the way-{talk about ruining your day, eh?}
Sorry, sure I love my vert as much as the next guy but then again, maybe too much, but, I just feel the wear and tear, not to mention the above, would be more aggravation that I would car to deal with, so much to the point where I'm sure I would have a better time without dealing with all of the above and I could really focus on the vacation and not have to worry in the back of my mind, all the time, day and nite, about how the is "doing."
But, that's just me.
Just wanted to give you the other side of the coin, but ultimately, the choice is yours and if you decide to drive the car, be careful, and good luck.
