2008 Engines?
I read something the other day about 08 emissions regs causing the LS7 not to be in compliance anymore.
There is talk on Digital Corvettes about an LS9. This possibly being a DOHC http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/foru...ad.php?t=49908
The other is an LS3 . This is what they are saying: "I'm being told the 2008 Engines are a LS3 & LS9 as we mentioned earlier with HP predictions,
no confirmations but look in the area of 450 & 600!
Both engines have the same displacement which if you think about it, will save tooling and manufacturing costs

If you look at the "Deliverables" portion of that document, you will notice that it says LS9 Gen IV SC.." which leads me to incline that its going to be supercharged. It had been reported for some time that there was to be a 600+ HP supercharged engine for a higher end than Z06 Vette for some time.
As for the LS3, I have heard rumor, but thats all I have heard.
