Welcome aboard.. do you really expect anyone here to tell you: NO YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT THE Quadcab ... congrats on the new toy... some of the things you should expect:
1. A lot of "OH SH... this thing is FAST"
2. DAMN IM HOME ALREADY!!! But I still want to drive it some more!!!!
3. How the hell does this widget work... $crw the manual Im going to figure it out on my own...
4. Can I live on bread and water for 5 days so I can save up to buy my next mod....
5. But officer I could NOT have been going that fast... my rpm's were not even past 2000....
6. STEP away from the vehicle... SLOWLY STEP AWAY from the vehicle.. it is NOT an amusement ride and no rides are not for sale
7. DAMN the front end is low... SCRAPE.. OUCH... SCRAPE... OUCH
8. Expect to lose 10lbs alone from the long walks from leaving the car in the boonies at any parking lot and from doing the wax on wax off....

Enjoy the car...

I admire your love of American iron in a part of the world which is less amenable (gas prices, space, left hand drive) to bigger cars/trucks.

But then when I used to drive a 1960 MGA I got a real rush as well.....

Enjoy

Congrats!

I just bought my first as well. 06 DSOM Vert w/A6 3LT F55. I absolutely love the car.

However, I also have a RAM SRT-10 Quad but struggled with selling/trading and having only the vette. Couldn't let go of the SRT, so I kept it and just added the Vette. I am fortunate that I could do that, (and that my wife let me) but I am glad I did.

Careful the first time you put your foot in it. My SRT is sitting at about 600HP so I wasn't sure how much faster a 400HP Vette would be, but let me tell you, it's a lot faster. An extra ton or so on the truck makes a lot of difference...
