Default Vert trunk release

Hi everyone! I have to hit the release button 2 or 3 times then dig under the lid to open. Is this normal. The car is new. I am tired of going back to the dealer. 4 visits in 2 months. Any easy fix? Thanks

Default trunk operation

My 06 trunk lid pops the first push on either the dash or fob button.

My 06 has no issues with either FOB, Dash, or rear button. Have used them all and work fine.

Shutting it is another thing however. Feel like I am going to break it as hard as I have to slam it to shut it.

After a year... No problems....... Except if I don't have the FOB, or the FOB is close to my cell phone. It doesn't make any sense to me. They tell me the FOB and the cell phone are on totally different wavelengths.

I don't have a Vert, so I can't help for sure. But on the C5s there were little rubber bumpers that could be adjusted up and down by turning them with your fingers to help the trunk fit flush when closed. Adjusting them up a bit made the lid open a bit more. Maybe the C6s have them too???

Thanks Problem solved! I looked at the bracket on the trunk and it was not exactly 90 degrees adjusted to the latch so it rubbed on the latch when released. Saved myself 50 miles to the dealer. I dont understand the 2 bumpers, if I adjust them so they touch the trunk edges stick up too high. They did not stick the edges up on my C5.
