Made a quick trip from home to Charolette, NC on Friday, then back home on Saturday. Averaged 28.2 mpg, and ran 80-85 mph the entire trip. Fantastic! By the way, I-40 between Ashville and Knoxville is one hellofa road! Lefties, righties, switchbacks, uppers and downers along with some incredible scenery. Thought I was in the Rockies, not the Smokey's.
Longest trip I've taken so far is a 250 mile tour with our Vette Club. Very comfortable and relaxing drive. I like that I can stretch out my legs under the dash even though I'm 6' 5" tall. Looking forward to some longer tours this summer...

double trew! 40 is a great and gorgeous drive. i remember in the last year of my undergrad at UTenn, there was a huge rockslide on 40 and the detour route was pretty friggin awesome too. cant remember what the route was though.
Sounds like a great trip. I have not had an opportunity to take my vert to the mountains yet. Unfortunately, I will have to go a little farther than you to find some...but I will.
