Default Changing an order

I've been reading this forum almost 24/7 since I ordering my Vette a couple of weeks ago and finally need to get some help.

I ordered an LMB LT3 coupe with the cashmere interior and decided I want the black interior instead. My dealer said they don't know how to change it and the only help I could provide was the info I read from the C6 FAQ. I told him that if the status code is less than 2500, than he should be able to change it without any delays. Do I have any other options?

Thanks,

Jeff

I changed my wheel option from chrome to standard painted, so i could do WCC aftermarkets, and the dealer had no problem changing that.

BTW, why are you changing interior? I love the cashmere on the LMB!

Just found out my order status is at 3000 according to the dealer, so it seems I am SOL.

The cashmere interiors are more rare around here and my wife finally saw one and said it was too light for her, she would rather have the black. It's no big deal either way to me. Oh well.

My bet is you will love the Cashmere when you get it. It will definitely be alot cooler in the summer especially where you live in Texas.

I have cashmere in my new DSOM vert. I think it's great. I don't think you're SOL at all. I'm sure you will love it, and your wife will come to like it too. There's a lot of dark gray on the instrument panel, so overall it's not as light as you might think. Good luck -- the car is awesome.

I agree. That was my main concern with the black, the heat. My main concern with the cashmere is keeping it clean and keeping those "dirt veins" that appear pretty quickly on the light colored leather in chevy trucks from taking over. It's not gonna be a daily driver, so that may not be a big deal. We'll love her either way....

I live in Florida and the ebony is not an issue with heat. Leather gets hot regardless of colour. Here's what the LMB with ebony looks like. (See sig pic)
