No. If I wanted a Delorean or a Diablo, I'd buy one.

Re: Swing Up Doors?? (Old Sport)
called Gull Wing doors, cause they flap up like a bird in flight , seagulls, hence speed doors or fast doors - nice addition, traditional aerodynamics - quite a fascination . and quite practical .
the aerovette(circa 1976/77) demonstrates the gull wing doors concept too? some euro and other supercar versions were swing up types . they work well too . the c6 should have something like that too .
wish the c6 took on these features

Re: Swing Up Doors?? (Old Sport)
I don't know, but for some reason I think gullwing doors would be sweeeeet. I doubt we'll get them, but I think they add a bit of the exotic to any car.
Given that such doors would not work with either a standard targa/coupe or a convertible, perhaps they might only offered on the FRC/Z06 version, if such a c6 exists. It would do a lot to further differentiate the high-performance vette--make it more of a DeLorean or Diablo. Hey, it might even prompt a remake of Back to the Future with a gullwing vette as the car!
:chevy  !

Speaking as someone who has had them (1975 bricklin)...
They're a PIA...imagine the weight of a door that has crash protection and what it takes to lift them, even if you have 2 lift points, tend to have stress cracks and / or lift problems...in the rain you get soaked....window mechanisms tend to have problems....maybe for a once in a while driver...not a daily driver for sure...if they want to spend engineering time give me 20 more HP on a daily driver

Re: Swing Up Doors??
I have heard rumors of scissor style doors like the diablo for the C6. I think this would be cool and would work with convertibles and targas as there is a targa diablo.

I say don't give it doors. Just make the side one piece and everyone can get in and out through the window, or hop in on a convertible.

Not a bad idea. I'd feel better about parking her closer to other cars. That's one thing about a two door GM car, HUGE DOORS!!!!
