Navigation doesn't like Higways
Why is it everytime I use the navigation system the route refuses to use the highways. I always choose the allow toll road option under route preferences?

The Nav unit in my '05 is a joke. It is entertaining to enter a destination just to see how far off it can be. Intersections and roads that have existed for 8 years aren't in the Nav.

I have a Nav in both my Lexus and C6 and you have to watch it if you select the "quick" or "short" option because these will often take you off the freeway.
The Vette has helped a lot and isn't bad, but coming back from Montana after the purchase, it tried to turn me off the road into both a desert and a forest at different times. But's it's also helped me out a lot at other times too. Maybe the new CD will help when it comes out. In the meantime, most of us can survive by just using some common sense. And also, if it does give you some wrong directions, just keep going and it will recalculate a new route.

For whatever reason mine came with Allow Major Roads turned off
That will almost definitely fix your problem.
