broken traction control?

broken traction control?
It started slowly on my 05...just peaking steep hills in 6th at about 80 mph the traction control would come on retarding spark and all just for a moment and then returm to normal. Progressivlly over the last 3-4 weeks it has gotten to a point where I mostly leave it off because I never know when it is going to kick in. Also seem to have lost some hp or I may just be getting comfortable with the hp. Anyway has anybody experienced this and does anybody know what it is?

Could be one of the sensors going out or gone so TC thinks one wheel is spinning faster than the other. But that is usually accompanied by a DIC message about TC problems. Just a guess. The dealer can check the sensors pretty easily.

I was thinking about the sensors also. Well time for its first visit to
the garage I guess. I think the hp decrease is just me getting used to the car. It has happened before in my super trans ams
