Need Advice
I brought it back for them to repair, now there are many more swirls and long "microscratches" all over the car.
What are my options?
What should I do?
I took my car in for servicing (xm radio) and the kid there (about 18 yrs old ) washed it with a brush. Needless to say, I immediately noticed the fine scratches and "web" look all over the car. There were even 2 scratches that were deeper into the paint. I went mad and almost puked. After complaining for awhile, the manager brought out their on-site collision guy who set me up for an appt to buff, wax etc. I brought it in and it didnt do anything for the microscratches. He said that the only way to fix it is to wetsand the car and it would take all day. They were willing to do it, but I decided not to procees. Also, when I first saw the buff job , it seemed like the "orange peel" was worse than ever and after listening to the orange peel threads on here and about how there's only so much clear coat on the car, I decided to swallow my anger and frustratin and leave the car the way it is. At the time, it was like a month old but now it's almost a year old and it doesnt bother me so much. I really suggest you do the same and save yourself the pain, etc if you're not happy with their solution. If they will give you a new car or something - take it - but whats the chances....

so yea, i would go for the repainting if it were an option
Or should I ask for a re-painting?

If it were my BLACK car I would find a professional auto detailer and have him start from scratch. By stipulating “PROFESSIONAL”; that leaves out the 16 year old high school drop out that many dealers entrust your $50,000 + pride & joy to! Black is a difficult color to get right and requires someone with experience.
