The wait is FOREVER....
car built 2-13-06

it is on its way to Hawaii..... on a canoe i belive.....
this place is keeping me sane (for now) one day plan to ship the car across the water and go on a real drive around the states maybe go track it somewhere and really learn to drive it - just watched a red C6 chase down a Z06 - pretty cool
will post some pics if it ever gets here - not planning very many mods
the days of 90% working on it 10% driving it are over for me....
it is now 10% working on it and 90% driving it....
had all kinds of cars from muscle cars (cant beat the raw brut power and sound) to little SCCA setup toyota's (makes my head spin a little thinking about those cars)
got a vette to get the best of both worlds....
and the waiting continues....

nope.... the sun and salt really turn vert tops into something resembling a hula skirt
longest drive approx 1.5 hours long and in a circle
(around island - no traffic 50 miles or so)
driving on a work day in traffic going home..... 1.5 hours.....

Judging by your comute time you live on Oahu. Did you buy from a local dealer? Hope your wait to delivery is short...congratulations!
I live on Kauai and am putting a deposit down with a forum seller on monday. Mine will be a Monterey Red/Cashmere vert, 3LT, MN6, F55, QG7, CM7 and NSM Museum Delivery. My wife and I will be taking a long scenic drive back to Seattle, where our vert will be shipped home. We will be living out of two carry-ons for 4 weeks so that we'll have room to put the top down. Can't wait!

As for the folks here in Ohio.... we are waiting for spring to arrive. Not quite as bad as your plight. I can go into the garage and sit in my C6 when I get anxious.

so easy it was kind of scary - courtesy delivered to waipahu servco
