I was driving around a parking lot looking for a space (I know that's risky) and I started getting a noise that sounded like the power steering was low on fluid. Then I thought maybe it's a tranny noise. So I parked the car, went in for dinner and when I came out everything worked fine. I got no messages on the DIC or codes on the dash. Anyone have this happen or have an idea what it might have been?
Was the parking lot made of cement or asphalt? if you were driving slow on cement those run flats will make the most awefull sound as if the steering pump is about to go out specially while turning.... I havent heard it on asphalt or while at a stop

If the asphalt has a new seal coat you can get this noise.
