Default Rear Window Vent from Corvette forums store

Hi has anyone used this product?

http://www.zip-products.com/Corvette...ies&HSLB=False

It is the rear window vent bracket that keeps the rear hatch open 3 inches to keep the air flow moving through the car.

Love to take the roof off but hat the wind noise. Wondering if this will help? Anyone use this product yet?

Thanks in advance for your recommenations

I heard or read that it actually allows the exhaust to get sucked into the passenger cabin.

The wind will also suck out every loose bit in the car and distribute it randomly along the road. Plus driving with the hatch open looks stupid and begs for everyone passing by to try to tell you its open.

I have found the wind battering in the C6 much improved over the previous generation coupes. In fact, I had mine up to 90 the other day with the top off and was pleasantly surprised by the difference in wind noise and battering compared to the older models. If you want to listen to music or carry on a conversation at speed with the top off, it is going to be tough to do. I also wouldn't recommend having any loose papers or small light items loose in the car.

Someone posted that the bracket comes with fine print saying for stationary use only. Might check that out.

Default hatch latch extenders

My wife bought me a set for my C-5....I used them once and they spent the next 4 years rattling around in the storage bin. more road noise and not much difference in airflow....IMO.I Don't plan on getting a set for the C6 when it arrives.

That's one of the silliest things I've ever seen. Why don't you just drive with your doors open and the rear deck completely open while you are at it.

I understand the concept thought, but come on...is the wind effect inside the car really that bad?
