Help....not sure what to do...bought car in december...about 500 miles later and weather was nice yestrday had car out and was washing and on front of car ive noticed these spots around front bumper area...they look as if someone peeled tape up and the remaining outlining residue was left over...so i tried to rub off...its as though it is under the clear coat...so i went a step further and pushed on the one spot...and it moved as if it was oil under and piece of plastic film....so i tried to push a little harder as if you push it out of this pocket and it turned silver...now i have this silver spot on front of bumper about dime size...and there is some other areas where these spots are and was showing someone and went to show how if you push on them they turn grey....and the car is black and stands out like sore thumb....these are obviously not chips in the paint....it is under pockets in the paint....under ...if i could say this and it be true...the clear coat..and no i dont have a three m clear cover on the car....but you might think that....whats the policies with car paint warranty anyone have good contact info....or go to dealer....thanks
Are you sure that it is not residual protective covering that GM uses on the corvettes during transport? Mine had a bunch of those "chips". I scraped them off with my thumb nail. Really had me going for a short while!
thats really what i thought it might be...but when i tried to chip off it was a fluid moving underneath a proective covering...and it was rainbow colors at first as if to be oil....then when pushing and trying to get up a little more....it turned silver.....wierd....going to check again...but they dont seem to come off...thanks so much though
You would be wise to take the car back to the dealer and let them deal with it. The less you do to the areas the less likely you can be blamed for the problem. The problem should be taken care of by your new car warranty.

Absolutely agree with jdavis on every point he makes.
Clearly a warranty issue...do not screw with it anymore or you will make it harder to identify as a warranty problem. Take it to the dealer. Stuff happens.
