Default Navigation Questions!

Are there any C6 riders out there who can answer the following NAVIGATION questions:

1. How can you get the navigation system to function 100% during driving? At present, during driving the system will not let you access certain of the toggle switches as it knows you are driving and apparently does not wish to take your eye of the wheel. However this is extremely frustrating to the co-pilot who is directing navigation plans and cannot access all functionality unless you tell the driver to stop!

2. After the guide on navigation has been set AND you have been advised of such - how do you switch the guide off /CANCEL that instruction to navigate you to that particular place given that you may have made an error in setting the destination place?

3. Do ANY TECH SAVVY C6ers know how to override the "agree" on the navigation system so you could just press "NAV" and enter the navigation system without the whole agree panel. The agree panel is such a pain as the car has to be in "stop" mode. The driver may just want some extra help en-route with navigation to destination and the car has to be stopped to do so. As co-pilot (ahem passenger) you want to minimise time on journey and fuel usage and the constant stop/start to access full navigation features are certainly not the most functional.

Please help. Thanks.

You can send a letter to your local BAR association and thank them for their efforts in making our society sue happy for items 1 and 3... obviously we arent smart enough to know not to use the NAV system while driving so if GM lets us we will sue them...no way to bypass items 1 and 3 as of now...

As for item 2: See Austin's response its more accurate then what I had posted..

1. There are many threads on this and folks are trying to find a solution, but nothing yet.

2. Hit Route Options -> Cancel Guidance

3. The agree nag screen is also the subject of many threads, but at this time no resolution. There is however, no requirement to be stopped to hit this button.

Hope this helps.
