I was driving home from Vegas this weekend when something on the IDC caught my eye. It said "ICE POSSIBLE". I looked at the temp outside and it was 34 degrees.
Read the owners manual. "ICE POSSIBLE: This message displays when the outside air temperature is cold enough to create icy road conditions."
I noticed that when I let my gas tank get low, the HUD said, "CHECK GAGES"
Who taught these engineers to spell? What the hell is a gage?
It's a spelling that saves GM thousands of dollars a year in printing costs. It's also a proper spelling of gauges. Here's an entry from my dictionary.

I guess from the temp and the way the tires were handling or maybe the moisture it thought there might be ice on the road. Thought you guys might want to know. Has anyone else seen this?

No, really, it was quite warm here in Chicago last winter. Really.
I leave the owners manual in the "library" near the "throne" so this way I always learn a little more about my great new car each time I ......you know.
lol that brings back memories of when I was in New York. I remember I was having a bad day, that cold/dark weather always makes me gloomy. I was somewhat discontent with my sister and I turned on my car and it said, "Ice Possible." I immediately said, "What? **** you!" Had to explain to my sister I wasn't speaking to her and we both had a good laugh. Funny how the vett could turn a crappy situation into a funny one Hahahah I miss my sister now, she always calls my car "The Batmobile." haha and if she ever wants to go somewhere she says, "Can we take a ride in the space ship?"
