Default Headers question

I used the search button but didnt find what i was looking for so ill just ask. Is it possible to do LG motorsports headers setup and keep stock exhaust mufflers? If so will there be a performance boost? Any change in sound in regards if there is a drone or makes it sound badass.

I want to give the car a nice deep muscle car sound and was told that if i just put headers on instead of a muffler setup i should get a pretty mean sound and better performance out of the engine.

Any input if apreciated

I can't answer because I have Kooks headers but I can tell you that LG motorsports will be happy to talk to you. That or try the C6 tech section.

Definitely possible to keep the stock exhaust. I am having LG headers put on next week and keeping the stock exhaust for now. Check out the Tech section and I'll post how the sound changes from the headers.
