Anyone know if they do it on site? I'd rather just drive it there and do it. Unless there is a better way?

The price online says $645.

Yes, they install the wheels in their own shop. Installation is $120 and it takes about 1-1/2 hours. You need an appointment in advance.

Looks great. So great, I've got to look into this.

One question: The chrome, any drawbacks or issues with sustaining the look? Does it peel eventually?

One more question: Did you get the emblems and are you happy?

Cool. Looks like that is what I'll have to do.

$765 is still cheaper than $900.

I understand that chrome is susceptible to pitting from salt or brake dust...so you need to keep clean (I think this comes pretty naturally for most of us). I wouldn't think that they would be the ticket for someone who drives the car year-round in northern climes where roads are salted.

In the interest of full disclosure, there was one individual on the Forum who had a peeling problem on the inside of one wheel. It was eventually replaced but took a little complaining. I'm not too concerned with the inside as I don't keep mine quite that pristine (I drive my car regularly and just can't keep the insides clean). Also, since I can purchase nearly 3 sets of the WCC exchange wheels for the price of the GM chrome wheel option (if they are, in fact, available), I figure I'll just replace them eventually if necessary.

I got the little stick-on emblems, but there's also the option of plain center caps or engraved. I also ordered a set of Ed's (Pipedreams) new stickers which I may replace them with. The WCC stickers are not quice 'official' GM C6 design, but look nice.

Very nice! I did the same thing but was not so fortunate as to live near their store.

From an appearance standpoint, they are nearly identical from what I can tell. The WCC chromes are the stock GM wheels (painted or polished) that have been chromed.

From a quality of the chrome plating standpoint, the GM factory wheel may be better...but they also cost two to three times as much. I'd be surprised if they're going to last 2-3 times longer.

I had better luck with the polished aluminum on my 2000 coupe, never had a problem. Chrome pits and eventually peals and it looks very bad, but that is just my opinion. The chrome does look great but after a few years things change.
