Not because you're goosing the hell outa it continually, hmmmm?

My C6 is very good to me mileage-wise when I'm not clowning around with its 400 horses.
But when I am all bets are off, I pay.
As I should.

They will come off with a little heat from a heat gun. You may have a some glue residue but it can be removed with a little solvent cleaner. Gas mileage will get better but not as good as a C5......more engine

What kind of gas mileage are you seeing? I get 19 around town, 25-26 on the interstate.

EDIT: Sorry, I should have mentioned - I've got the base suspension, auto tranny, with 3.15 rear axle ratio.

What mileage are you getting? I have another thread going on the topic, I've been getting only about 10mpg around town and am trying to figure out if that's normal or if I have a problem that needs to be checked out.

Driving the same places and times as my C5s (daily commute) I get about 2-3 mpg less and about 5-7 mpg less on the highway. And I am talking Z51, A4 w/3.15 ratios on both cars. 17-18 around town, 24-26 highway. Which is pretty much what the window sticker said I would get... Still pretty good for a 400 HP car capable of 180+ mph

Yes, more than pretty good in fact IMO. In the days of old when the big blocks roamed the roadways 10-12 mpg overall was pretty good. My 396 Camaro could drink a gallon in the course of a single 0-85 merge onto the freeway in maybe a mile.

Plus the 400 hp of today is really more like 475 or more "old hp". The mileage is fantastic. This is partly due to more speeds and gearing in the trans. I wonder what mileage will be when GM finally gets around to adding displacement on demand to the C6. Proly not much different around town ( and horsing around ) but I gotta believe freeway mileage would be significantly greater feeding only half the cylinders.

Wonder why they are waiting on that one for the vette.

( and today's engines don't need 100+ octane leaded gas either!)

We can also recover them with leather if you want.

Here's the fun solution. SteveM10 here on the boards is selling these. A lot easier to do than removing, inexpensive and a better look, for sure!

He is selling to froum members at a discount.

We get 15-18 around town and 23+ on the highway depending on how much fun we are having!

What is the price to have them both recovered with leather?

For the pair it would be $250.00.
