I've done my search and have not found a similar problem.
I have a regular one cd head unit. There are two stations that do not get immediate signal. I live in the DC area and they are 95.5 and 99.1. I have both those stations programmed on my numbers.
When i click on them the signal immediately catches, then after 2 seconds it goes away, like it's searching or something. Then after like 3 minutes or so the signal finally catches.
Anyone ever heard of this??
This problem is only on these two stations, the rest of them work perfectly.
Something I just noticed today, I saw that when the signal does catch the TA thing is lit up on the right side of the display, maybe there is a hint there.
someone help.

I havent experienced that but I would offer that where you are is probably one of the "noisiest" air wave areas in the world..
Hey NSolano.....I too am having a similar problem with one particular station...starts to "comes in" and then radio goes silent. If I manually turn to the station I am OK. Would also appreciate input.
come on someone has to know how to fix this. It's driving me nuts. I may just take it to the dealership this weekend and waste my saturday morning if I don't find a fix.

Haven't heard of this issue, but make sure RDS and traffic info etc. are off so there's no possibility of anything else interfering with the signal. Just an idea, could be way off.

Same problem. If I go to it manually and reprogram it, it appears OK
miine worked fine this morning. I think it has to do with the TA option on the radio. TA is the option that searches for traffic, or other signals. I think it turned on when I went to those stations, so it would search for other signals. I pushed and held the button for it for about a minute last night and now it seems fine. I dunno if that fixed the problem completely though. I will check this afternoon, if not then off to the dealership this saturday.
