Well, it's here. Ordered on 11 February, built on 15 March, received by dealer on 23 March. I figure that's not too bad. Koenig Chevrolet says I can take it home Tuesday, 28 March. By the way it's a 3LT, F55, NAV, A6, polished wheels, and black interior.

Blk on blk, absolutely stunning. Now make sure the dealer doesn't swirl it up. Post more pix when it's home! Congrats.

Just curious, why the 5 day delay from dealer receipt until they say you can take it home? I took my car home the same day it arrived.

Zymurgy - I like your handle, by the way - it's really only two days, Friday and Monday. Their detailer is off over the weekend. The salesman told me they take special care with the Corvettes. I guess that's because they're the most expensive cars they sell. I've deferred this gratification for so long that a few more days won't matter.

Thanks. If I were you those two days would be killing me. Enjoy your new ride!

Why not detail it yourself ?? I took mine home just like that with plastic and all (not quite as much dirt) ... she now looks like this:

I'd be happy to provide some hints and product choices
