Default Clock

The clock is displaying 24 hour time. How do I change to 12 hour?

Press and hold the clock icon and the instructions will come up.

If you don't have the Nav, the following will do it (page 3-78 of owners manual for '06):

To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour, press either the H or the M button for
two seconds to enter the clock mode. Press the tune
**** to select between the 12 or 24 hour display format.
The clock mode will automatically time out with the
changed display format set as the current default setting.

I assumed everyone had the NAV when only 4676 (12.5%) do. Sorry about that.

Yep, those instructions were left out of the 05 owner's manual. TedG got them from somewhere and posted them here about a year ago.

I have the Nav myself, but the original post did not specify, so I thought I would cover all the bases.

I got used to military time when I worked for a USAF subcontractor. Even after being retired for 2.5 years, I still keep my wristwatch on military time.
