There are a lot of cars that have CD under .29...

mercedes C class has a .26
IS300 has a .29

The new C6 better have a CD less than .29

Very true, but they don't have the huge tires like a sports car would. Tires generate a lot of drag, both aero and frictional.

Yikes, easy to clean, but I bet a pain in the **** to work on. Then again, how many Ferrari owners do their own work. :D

I don't trust GM styling, especially after the Aztek, and I'm still mad at my big butt, er.. my C5's big butt.

2025 Corvette of the Year Finalist - Modified

The phrase, "looking like a Corvette," bothers me

My '63 Split Window sure doesn't look like any other Corvette before it, and until GM stops thinking like this, the styling won't be world class, I'm afraid.

The C5 doesn't knock me out aesthetically; it's just "OK," but the Mosler MT900 that I saw at Corvette Mike's recently has true world-class styling. I'm holding my breath that the C6 looks as good, but frankly I don't think it will.

FYI, 0.29 is not that hard. GM achived that in 1983 with the Trans Am Daytona Edition. The C5 mearly ties this car. (Later and early TAs where not as slippery).
