Stereo system was modified, cags unit installed, but not too recent.
z-51 sway bars as well. I do not believe there is any correlation however. thanks for replying............alex
I did remove the engine cover and pulled out the sensor to have a look. the rubber grommet that seals the sensor had sand on it. other than that my technical skills are limited....
The reason I asked about the mods is probably 80% of the time it goes hand and hand with somehow having a sensor messed with. I don't have my manuals handy to know what that particular code goes to. Be sure to report back your resolution.
Its a DTC code for: MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP)
SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH VOLATGE.
I was just unsure as to what causes high voltage at the sensor. I know it is there to measure vacum on the throttle body, other than that I am clueless.
basically I don't want the dealership saying its the radio system altering voltage or the cags unit on the tranny......ect.
I don't think they will give you a hard time about that sensor and the fact of your stereo. They have nothing in common. In fact, your stereo is would be controlled by the BCM, the sensor by the ECM.

i would pull it and clean it. then get a scanner and clear the code. if you don't clear the code it will take a bit before it self clears.
high voltage can mean dirty sensor, more voltage is required to read it and thus the high voltage warning.
