Sure, just drag songs from the library and drop them into a playlist. Then burn the playlist to CDR.
You make it sound so easy, but I am finding it not so easy. Our C6s expect the MP3 files organized in specific ways, ie, no tracks in the root directory etc. WMP defaults to all tracks on the root directory, so I have given up on using that application for my MP3s.
If you have actually used playlists in the C6s, please lmk how your disc is organized....

Dumping all the songs into the root directory is Ok, if you don't want the songs organized into folders. If you do use folders, realize that you shouldn't have more than 50 folders on a single disc, and don't nest folders over 8 levels deep.
When I make a playlist, it is a compilation disc with songs from several albums, so I don't use folders. When I make a disc of albums, I do use folders, one for each album, but then I'm stuck with the play order of the albums.
I use iTunes to make playlist CDs. As I said, just drag the songs you want, in the order you want, into a playlist using iTunes. Then burn the playlist to a CDR for the car. Simple, easy.

ShopDog,
Thanks for the reply. This method results in all the tracks being in one directory correct? But probably does not create a playlist file (*.m3u). It probably has the same net affect, but it does not actually use a "playlist" like on our PCs. However, the manual states that it does support playlists, but does not offer much more info on how to specifically.
Ideally, it would be best to have a disc with all artists in folders so they can be accessed individually AND be able to go to the root folder (or elsewhere) to select a playlists that will play selected tracks in the various folders. Can our cars do that? If not, then what is the point of saying Playlists are supported?
