Do the C6 Z51s come with badging to denote they are Z51s? Or do you just look for the drilled rotors? I just ordered one because I recognize the value in the Z51 option, but I don't even know if they are marked.
There really is no way to identify a Z51. There is no badging. You could look at the rotors, but then again, I have an F55 and I'm ordering drilled rotors strictly for looks. Anyone who tracks there car often will probably have replaced their drilled rotors with solid rotors as well.
You'd think if that many people wanted them GM would submit ...
None from the factory....yet. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see them in the future, kinda like like Z71, or Z28, or ZR1 etc... which all started out as RPOs and became models.

The "badging" is inside the glove box door. This is the most reliable way to tell if it really is a Z51.
If the car has it's original tires on it, they will be Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT Supercar tires.

right now probably not many but once people start needing a brake job you will see more and more people upgrading.
Also consider how many people went to the trouble to cut C5 Z06 style rear brake vents, and installed C5 Z06 style front screens into their non Z06 C5s.
We should be nice to the n00b......but I'll have to admit I don't understand all this angst and desire to advertise the Z51. My 03 has it, but I've never thought there was a need to advertise it. Very odd.
