Homelink visor

Can somebody that has done this give me step by step instructions. I tried turning the plastic part with a flat head screw driver but the darn thing won't budge. What am i doing wrong?

I'm trying to replace the standard visor with the one with the homelink. I know it can be done per a different post http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1292808&page=2
and they make it seem so simple but I can't get it to come off.

What I did with mine I wiggled them slowly until the lock came out. Just got to be patient.

I need specifics, in what direction did you wiggled it, clockwise, counter clockwise, visor towards the door, etc.

Well, I moved the visor towards the door and tried to rotate the plastic piece in the same direction but no luck, all I managed to do was to strip the notch. I stumped.
