Has anyone experienced a problem with their windows going up and down as if it’s not indexing right? My passenger side goes up and down about 10-15 times before finally setting itself right. I'm dropping it off at the dealer on Monday but I want to have some background on the problem before I try to describe the issue.
Window indexing improperly has produced several symptoms. Try resetting the window indexing by raising the window and holding the up switch an extra 3 seconds after the window finally closes. Release the switch. Hold again in the up position (without lowering the window) for 3 seconds. Release. See if that fixes your problem. If not, you'll probably need to take it to the dealer.
I reset the window using the instuctions you gave and it seems to have taken care of the problem for now... I'll keep an eye on it over the next few days and see if it stays fixed. Thank you for your help.
The window gremlin is back! It sounds like there is a relay or something that you can actually hear clicking and I think that’s what the problem is, a bad relay. Too bad our local dealer probably doesn't stock the relays and it'll have to be ordered. I have an appointment Monday, so I'll see what happens.

Faulty passenger window switch. There was even a trouble code in the computer. Apparently most (or all) of the electrical system is monitored by the computer. On the downside, the switch is on backorder so I'll be a few more days with a malfunctioning window!
I noticed yesterday upon shutting down that the passenger window was not down all the way... stuck out of door about 1/2 inch. Ran it back up, and held the switch up for 10 seconds or so, for three times (couldn't remember the procedure, figured that would get it). Problem fixed for now. We'll see if it reappears.
In my case, they determined that there was corrosion on the inside of the switch, causing an active signal when the switch isn't pressed. FYI: the DTC for this problem is B1474.
