Can any of you advise me on what a reasonable price would be to pay on a 05 loaded convertible with polished wheels, Z51 power top and 1SB? It's new, but was displayed at the state fair.
I would think at least $10K off. 1-The '07's are not far off and 2-I got almost $6k off an '06 coupe this month (GMID). 3-Rick at Les Stanford recently had some for $12k off...don't know if there are any left.
Kerbeck is offering 5000.00 off on new 06 verts, maybe your better off dealing on an 06. With the 07's coming out around the corner and the usual drop in value upon driving the first mile your gonna get crushed in value with an 05.

At this point i would not touch it for over 52k. I paid 57k for a 06 (msrp) 64547 in Nov05.

My Guess is that you're talking about a 61,000 car. That car is worth about 49-50K wholesale right now, and will be worth the same thing the second you drive it off the lot.
Considering the dealer has a $7500.00 difference between MSRP, and invoice, and he's already used it for promotional purposes, you shouldn't pay a dime more then 10K under the FACTORY MSRP. Dealer add ons don't count.
