About time that i pulled the....
order 
Just ordered my 06, z51, VY with blk interior. Now the wait beginsss.......While searching for the right dealer, car etc, I found that there was a dealer that had a "special" corvette loaded with a package called "SPL" which according to the guy produced 465hp and only 100 of them were produced. That included ALL the factory warranty and everything and was 10k more then the MSRP. I had never heard that before so I thought it might be worth sharing.
Edit: I think he said SLT, not SPL.

They've been selling the package without the pcm tuning for a long time. So apparently, the limit of 100 applies to just the tuning. Or you can go find another competent tuner.

Hmmm, $4,800 for the package and $5,200 to install it for the required $10 large, plus of course the "exclusivity" of owning 1 of 100 cars.
I think I would rather spend my money on something that produces more horsepower. For approximately $5,000 you can get a further 35 horsepower for 500+ at the crank. For $7,000 more (total of $17,000) you can get something north of 550 HP (or 470 RWHP!).
Take a look at the LPE 403 engine with your choice of headers.

I'm with Ben on this. $4800 even seems much for the package. Not a good deal IMHO.

Ouch - $10k over for that SLP package? My LPE 500 hp H/C package only ran $6895 (price has been bumped a little now) plus about $350 for the CAI. I even got fender badges too
