Default Pedal position

Has anyone else noticed that the dead pedal seems to be a lot farther in front of the clutch? Sometimes it just seems like I have to use my whole leg to do shifts, pulling my foot way back off the dead pedal in order to get in front of the clutch pedal, instead of just sliding the foot over to cover the clutch. I guess I could do something to push out the dead pedal, but is it possible to move back the clutch pedal so it is a couple inches closer to the firewall?

Haven't noticed the dead pedal spot, but I think its rediculous that we don't have adjustable pedals.

It sure wouldn't hurt to space out a little.

I drive an automatic and feel the dead pedal is an inch or two too deep as well.

Well, I guess its a matter of perspective. I'm 6'1" and I feel the other pedals are about 2" too close. I like the dead pedal location because I can stretch out my leg. I just don't like having my foot so far in front of the clutch, requiring so much leg motion.

Unless someone comes up with some kind of pedal relocation trick, the easy fiix is to build up the dead pedal, but I'd prefer to keep the legroom.

I know. Fine tuning. Love this car in every other way and just going for that final "fits like a glove" feel.

Reminds me of that famous automotive horror flick, "Night Of The Living Dead Pedal."

BTW, the dead pedal position is perfect for me...never even thought about it before.

I use the "dead" pedal to brace my leg from thrashing about. I use a "2 o'clock" position for my right foot to heel/toe. I use the clutch only for the starts...
(I'm kidding about the clutch, I use it most all the time it's necessary.)
