Default I pulled the trigger

I ordered a Victory Red C6... Ok here is the hyprocritical part on me... I put in my order to get a brand new Z51 C6 to be built. I searched long and hard to find a dealer that would do the GMID pricing on it because almost no one would do it. Well I finally found some one that was willing and guess who... KOONS. Yeah thats right I had to go and order a brand new vette from the people that raped me in service. If you don't know the whole story with me read it here: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...very+one+aware

Man it I hate doing that but, money is money. On a side note my sales guy was just f'in awesome didn't push me. His name is Ray cool guy if you go down there check him out. He just gave me the option on everything and let me go out and drive with the wife just said bring it back in a little bit I am not worried. The most impressive thing was that he told me go and sleep it over if you still want to do this call me tomorrow and we will get it done.

Well now I have a new c6 getting built as we speak. I got the a Victory Red, Cobalt Red leather, 3LT package, Z51 and compition wheels. I still can't believe I did it.

Congrats.....there's always a silver lining! Now the decision is to use them again for service or go somewhere else.

Congtats to you, Josh! You're going to love it. The Victory Red / Cobalt Red combo is a great one. Here's to hoping that your wait is a short one!

JStyle, congrats on your order, you will love it. I'm from Springfield, Va, too so I am sure we will see each other sooner or later. I have a MR vert. I too visited Koons but they wouldn't come anywhere near the deal that Les Stanford made, $7k under MSRP for a 06 in Nov. Did you check out the forum dealers or did Koons finally come down?

Congrats on the purchase! Regarding the break in comment, read the posts on this. You'll see evertyhing from "drive it like you stole it - it makes the car faster breaking it in that way" to "you must always follow the manual - the manual is God - keep it under 55 for 500 miles or your Corvette will wear out in 6 months." Personally I think you use some common sense, vary the RPMs and just take it a little easy during that time. Out here in Cali if you tried to keep it a 55 on the freeway you'd get run over, or at least flipped off, honked at and cursed at a lot!!!
