Do all online vendors remove items from the display on their website every time those items are backordered? How do items get backordered? Don't you have to sell a lot of those items to get backordered?
Seems like a natural process to me. I believe if I was depending on tight installation times, I'd be on the phone to someone.
I agree. Most places do (and I think they all should) tell you an item is on backorder or in stock during at least some portion of the purchase process. In this day and age of computerized inventory there is no reason whatsoever that this cannot be done on a stock item such as the Z06 spoiler. Take note vendors. Since most places do tell you when an item is or is not in stock I dont bother shopping at places that dont. No need to when so many will lighten my wallet without having to make phone calls to confirm availability.
I just got a LLoyd Cargo Mat from the Froum Store an they showed it was backordered to. It is shipped it from the factory, so they show a backorder. Go into the store and go to order history. Ask them about your order and they will respond to you. They told me that mine had been shipped and gave me the UPS number to check on it. They were very helpful with me.
They didn't show it on mine till after I ordered it. Then when I went into look at my order history the next day it said all items were backordered. So I waited a couple of days and then wrote and ask if there was anyway I coulld find out when it would be shipped they told me it was already shipped.
