I am the only one that has to mess with the button on the outside of the car to open the doors. Maybe I am just not used to it yet but I can't seem to get in on the first time.
Don't be hesitant, put your fingertips against the "handle" and keep steady pressure until the door opens. You don't have to pull hard, just steady pressure and it will open every time.
i have a silly question i know, but i cant find it in the manual,, what is the button on the floor in front of the seat on both sides,, with the red on the button?

The time it takes to open seems to depend upon whether the car has gone into 'sleep' mode or not. If you've walked near the car for several seconds before opening, or if the car has only been sitting for a few minutes, it seems to open very quickly. Otherwise, you have to wait a second or two with your fingers in the button.

A few of my passengers had the same problem. Seemed either their fingers were going too far or not far enough into the door handle. Problem was solved after they took a look inside the handle to see where the sensor that has to be touched was actually located.
Actually, there's another issue I've run into a few times in opening the door. The car - to - fob radio link is very short range. Trying to open the door at arm's length doesn't work. In fact, sometimes it doesn't work if I'm standing so that the fob is on the other side of my body. So if you're trying to open the door with a little bit of a stretch first time, then move in closer for your second try that could be the reason.
I find that fob in right pants pocket, standing facing forwards and close to the car and just behind the door works best. But that might depend on what else you carry in your pants pockets.
I never had trouble with the door openers but I can't seem to ever remember where the stupid rear hatch button is. I have to feel around back there every time like a n00b.

Me too! It's easier to just use the FOB than fumble around under there.
And then it usually doesn't work anyway. Filled up with dirt.

I use the button on the dash about half the time, because I'm in the car about half the time when I know I need to open the hatch.

Directly under (maybe a squidge to the right) the middle of the logo on the rear fascia.
If you figure out a solution to this, I want to know, too!!!!
HEPA filters feeding a continuous laminar flow steup with open grating under the car for air return. Okay, so that's what we do in semiconductor fabs to keep everything clean. Works, but a bit pricey

The scourge of the earth is constantly besieging us with airborne particles and infiltrates of various sizes and origins. Neutrinos from space, pollen from flowering plants, animal remains that have turned to dust, exhaust particulates, and sneeze spray. Just to name a few.
If you dont want dust/dirt on your car you must cover it or hermetically seal it in a 3ft lead encasement at room temperature in a near perfect vacuum (somewhere around 30 in.) with a .2 micron constant flow filtration system. That should about do it. Let me know if you need the plans...
