Replace caliper bracket bolts?
The service manual says to replace the caliper bracket bolts if you remove them or they become loose. Anyone know why? Wouldn't lock tight work to secure them? Anyone not replace (use the old ones) them after removing them? Problems? Thanks...

The bolts come pre-impregnated with a type of thread locker on them. It wears off when you loosen them or remove them.
That being said, I have reused them several times with no problems. You don't need more thread locker, but it couldn't hurt, either.
