I have my c6 since october 05,I rarely step on it.
Today I went to go pass someone and the car just picked up so fast it threw me back in the seat! I have the base coup with the A4 tranny.
It is totaly stock,but boy the car is just unbelivably fast.
Maybe its just me ,cause like I said I rarely step on it.
My point is that stock is plenty fast for me! I love it!

You might want to take it to a track or to a road class. That car is capable of things you won't believe. 
If the highway is empty, and I am not advocating this at all, give it some gas and see what it does BUT BACK OFF.
You need to find the car's limits before you get into a bad situation because it may respond beyond what you are capable of controlling. No offense intended here, but for your safety...

Took it on the highway today, and just touching the gas and it goes.
Hard to keep it at 65. It drives smooth. Doesn't even feel like 64. more like forty.
The fun part is when someone hasn't been in the Vette and you punch it.
Their reactions are priceless.
Might have to start charging for rides.
