A lot of the dealers are offering 5000 to 6000 off the 2006 verts. I know there are still time to special order a 2006. If I order one will I still get the discount??????????? thanks for any answers.
Probably not. I am sure they want to sell Corvette's that are on their lot. They want to move them out as they say. They are costing them money just sitting there. If you order your own you get exactly the car you want. Sometime's it will cost less because you will only order the extra's you want.
You are coming up on the end of the model year so if you want one you should order now. I also bought from Rick Daniel at Les Stanford at GMID price and got over $6K off on my vert. So get that order in!!!
Check prices with all the forum dealers. You will find a deal, I'm sure. EVS was best for me. No GMID needed. Courtesy delivery will get it to your location, or specify NCM delivery for real fun.
This time of year dealers want you to buy off the lot. So they usually don't offer the same discounts to ordered cars. As an example, when I ordered mine I talked the dealer in discounting my car by $3300. At the same time most of our CF supporting dealers were offering a $4K discount to cars sitting on the lot.

Intially I ordered my 06 coupe and they accepted my GMID discount. Well they ended up getting an identical vette the very next day and accepted my discount there as well. That was Koons Chevrolet btw...

If I were to first now be preparing to make my purchase, that's the route I'd take.
And especially nice is the fact EVS is only 20 miles from my front door.
Wished I'd known that when I was buying, would've made things a lot simpler.
