I just put the TopFlight bracket on. I followed another members suggestion about drilling two addtnl holes to bring the plate out a little further so it doesnt rub into the bumper.
Even so, it looks like the plate is very close. The foam weatherstripig should provide protection, but has anyone had any rubbing or scarring issues?

I've had mine on since late January, installed per the directions, a close fit but a look I like. The foam strips touch the paint top and bottom. So far, no visible scuffing at all.

I use SLP's bracket--no drilling, no "buck tooth" look, no air blocked from entering the grill, and finally it's removable with two pins.

I'm the one that drilled the two holes to move the plate off the bumper. 1700 miles so far and no rubbing or scuffing. My plate is less than 1/4 inch from bumper, it works no problem.
I used your ideas, and it worked out. Actually, I put the top piece a drop too far back, if I hadnt drilled the 2nd set, the plate would have been at a slight angle. I saw Indy-HP made a color matching frame that looks great. I'm going to try and do the same, just need to find a thin frame that I can bend a little to match the topflight. I'll paint it when I paint the calipers.

The frame I used is plastic, so it bent easily to the top flight bracket curve.
