I have a dealer who is willing to sell me a new '06 that is on the ground at GMS pricing. All that I need now is a certificate. If anyone can help please let me know. I only need one and would not waste your time or mine if I was not ready to buy and the dealer did not offer GMS.

You will find out that GMS is not like other certificates. It can not be given to anyone. You must work for GM in order to receive a GMS. I had try to get one before I ordered my C6 and found out these information above.
According to GMS rules, employees/retirees can give a certificate to qualifying family members (sons/daughters, mothers/fathers). There have been threads on this forum of some dealers "selling" a GMS certificate by giving GMS pricing less a $1200 charge. This is not allowed by GMS rules.
On the other hand, a GMID certificate can be given to anybody. The discount is not as great as GMS, but it is still pretty good.
