Convertible power Top problem
Today I had put the Top down and was 3 minutes down the road when the warning bell started up....darn that thing is loud
..messge said "Top not Secure" ..This is a very new 2006.
Stopped and put vette into park and tried to raise top, but nothing..The Top would not respond to either up or down movement.
...drove on a bit( 10 min) and the warning chimes ( I swear they get louder each time) started again, so stopped and got out and could see nothing amiss...Got back in and tried to raise Top and this time no problem
. Since then I have lowered and raised the Top several times and the warning message and chimes have not happened again.
So was this a one time glich or an ill omen of electronic problems to come
?

I have had the top not respond to the switch once. Try to re-index the windows fixed mine. If you unhook the battery the top will not work until you index the widows. Take them all the way down and back up.
