Which lesson would that be?...Never let ANYONE drive your Vette; not even your mother?

It's just as well she didn't get it out of the garage without damage...the incident probably put her on full conservative alert to NOT do any more damge; C6s can do strange things when the uninitiated hammer the go pedal.

Very nice work on the photos...this thread will be helpful to many.

Great Post & Pics.
Vette engineers are obsessed with weight savings.
It must of killed them to put those heavy speakers (magnets) in the doors & rear pillar.

Default nice post!!!

cool, on the 06' I heard the satellite antenna is in the mirrors. If so would there be any difference to removal?( besides of course a bigger price tag!)

awesome post and excellent work

Didn't notice but I am sure its very easy.

JmpnJckFlsh - The lesson is to back it out of the driveway, THEN give her the keys.

tony 63 vette - There is a cover behind the handle on the door.... and one behind the button i believe.

Guitarstar - The speaker was not heavy at all! When I first drove a C6, I couldn't believe how light the doors were. It was a fascination to me!

hazchris - Don't know about the XM being in the mirror but if GM did do something like that, I am sure its not much different.

Everyone - Thanks for the comments!

And now for ***** nilly....

Does anyone still have these photos archived? Do you by chance, Camaro4Life? I could sure use this right about now... just learned my lesson! Cattle guards don't move. If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated, the image links appear to be broken

Digging up an SIX AND A HALF year old thread must be some kind of record (and against forum policy, btw).
