This has been discussed before. You need to buy complete new headlamp assemblies in black. You can get them from Fred Beans for about $1500 total.

I was thinking about doing it to my DSOM as well, but I think the price is a bit high. This is the kind of mod I can wait for.

This poster claims to have seen them on ebay for 1/3 of GM's price:

There is a pair of Silver on EBay for $900 and a single Yellow (with a big scratch) selling for $450. No Black.

That was me Ive seen them there but the colors are sporadic and its rare they are in pairs and sometimes they are damaged. I ordered a damaged one off ebay for 20 bucks to attempt to dissasemble it to repaint the inside.

I did this on my 350z by baking it in the oven to losen the adhesive then sent it off to be painted, Im assuming I can do the same with these. If so Ill give you guys a heads up. If I can then you can buy whatever color off ebay or just redo your own.

Is there a reason they just couldn't be painted?

here is a link from the 350z forums I used to visit with a DIY on painting the interior of headlights. I'm guessing the corvette may be opened in a similar way

Too bad GM doesnt wake up and offer the black headlights from Bowling Green for a charge....for that look I would pay a few hundred bucks to get it right from the factory to avoid the hassle. Would be a no brainer option for them....but that's another story.......

Wow. That gives it quite a different look, but it's very nice. Glad it's on VY...I don't have to use my imagination

Don't know, but here's a blowup from a photo I took of that car at the Bash this weekend; might help someone identify...

GM spent quite a sum of money offering the lights in every color. Guess they think it looks better that way.
