Default Clarification on GID Program for Corvettes

I have had several customers ask me if the GID Program for Corvette was ending on May 1st. I have confirmed with GM this morning that the current GID Program is due to expire on Sep. 30th and that it will most likely be extended.

That's what I thought. The GID certificate email I have has an expiration date of 9/28/06.

I'm looking to take delivery in November. Does this mean I need to wait until the beginning of October to get a certificate since the current ones are set to expire?

Not really. The certificates are good for six months from date of issue. So to cover yourself for a November delivery, you could get one issued in early July and be good through December. That would get you about a month of leeway.
