But like with dealership gouging customers on markups, GM couldn't get the Corvette tax from us if there wasn't a demand and we didn't pay it.

We control pricing.....think about it.

And a herd of sheep controls it's destiny. Think about it. If the herd acted in unison the shepherd and sheep dog could easily be run over. It doesn't happen though, does it?

As long as enough sheep dutifully show up on a regular basis to be sheared, sheep will continue to be sheared.
