Default Splash guards

Anyone with experience with the Zip splash guards? Installed pics would be appreciated, as Zip does not have any on their site, and I wonder what they look like on the car. I need something to protech the cars side panels. My tires are slinging road tar. Thanks

EuroRod, don't want to jump your line, I have the same question with an observation....

Difficult to tell from his web site, but they do not appear to be concurved to the fender lines. It appears that they are basically flat fairly thin stock products.

Am I incorrect ?

they are stupid simple to install. Ed shipped them right away, and they've done an excellent job so far.

I did apply some 3M clear material b/t the flaps and the painted surface just to be safe.

I not sure I understand your question. I would be more than happy to answer you can PM or email me. They sit flat against the inner couture of the fender and made from a material know as duraflex that is used this splash guard industry and guaranteed for life against cracking or deforming

I know we are all fans of Pipedreams products, but I am curious why no one considered the guards from Zip. They are painted, conform more to the car then the flat guards from Pipedreams. The only drawback is the price, but I think they would look nicer. Anyone get them? Anyone have a picture?

I put these on my car as well and they literally disappear from the side and behind and it is amazing how clean the rear of the car stays. Not a chip so far either. The reason everone uses them as they work so well and the price is definitely right!

See a car in person with the zip ones and you will know why I developed mine, simpley they look like cheap body kit

Ed's are great they do the job and blend right into the wheel well and are totally inconspicuous.

being painted body color is not necessarily good. I saw pics and wasn't crazy about it. being black makes them more inconspicuous. I took pics of mine and had to really try hard to get them to show. no one even notices them on my car.

Now, this is an example of one of the biggest problems with this board. You guys always wind up costing me money!!!! I just ordered a set of Pipedream's stupid splash guards because of this thread. Why do you keep doing this to me?

My poor wife....
